We were tasked with converting an underutilized lecture hall to a conference center and offices. By leveling the existing sloped floor we increased the space’s flexibility. We created a main conference room that would accommodate lectures for 75 persons and conferences for up to 40 persons. Finishes, trim and furnishings were carefully selected for acoustic performance, durability and creation of an executive image. A suite of offices was added for the Human Resources department and through reducing the ceiling height we were able to add a much-needed classroom to the floor above.
