The local farmers market was on the cutting edge of the demand for locally-grown produce, sustainable meats, and hand-crafted products. Started over 30 years ago in the parking garage, the market had outgrown the space and needed a permanent home. We designed a pavilion next to an open, public green area (with plans for an extensive city park in the works) that provided room for 40 vendor stalls, retained parking spaces, and also doubled as a home for festivals, music, and special events.
