With a prime commercial location and room to expand, Gift and Thrift, Inc. was looking for a facility that not only showcased their own stores, but also generates rental income from organizations and businesses with compatible missions and values. Rather than take a typical, strip mall planning approach of pushing the Common Good Marketplace to back of the lot, we chose to move it the center so that there were entries on all sides of the building. The one story facility uses simple, bold geometry and signage to give each tenant visible front door and assist customers with finding their way to their destination.
